After an 8 year hiatus since running Radix Farm out of Upper Marlboro, MD, Kristin is back to farming, part-time, in Artemas Pennsylvania at a collectively owned property she and friends purchased in 2022. Crooked Collective Farm (on Crooked Run) is starting small, taking time to learn the ways of this land while building soil and fertility through a tight cover crop rotation. Kristin lives in Baltimore and goes to the farm most weekends to rebuild the house and work on the farm plot. She is excited to be growing again!!

Everything is grown following organic standards (though not certified). The previous owner had a couple horses on the land and did not use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.
